A Wooden Kama design unique to Seaholme Carpentry . Built around a high quality beech plywood section extending the full length of the handle. Two pieces of oak form the handle sides, which are shaped to the same dimensions as the Metal Kama, with a 37cm long, stadium shaped handle.

This design overcomes a problem common to some Kobudo Weapons, whereby the join between blade and handle is fatigued and becomes loose.

A Wooden Kama design unique to Seaholme Carpentry. Built around a high quality birch plywood section extending the full length of the handle. Two pieces of oak form the handle sides, which are shaped to the same dimensions as the Metal Kama.

Plywood blade detail, following the exact profile of metal kama.

This design overcomes a problem common to some wooden kama, whereby the join between blade and handle is fatigued and becomes loose. Whilst the mortice and tenon is a very strong joint, the blade is not thick enough for this task.
